Skopje, 03. – 06.11.2016; In the frame of the project Professional exchange of adult education experts from Macedonia and Bosnia and Herzegovina, Lifelong Learning Center with financial support from DVV International from Bonn, and in cooperation with DVV International – office in Sarajevo, organised a return visit in Skopje with aim strengthening of cooperation between countries of our region, development of systems for adult education and creation of network of experts in area of adult education, in the period between 3rd and 6th of November.
Colleagues from Bosnia and Herzegovina visited public institution Adult Education Centre where they have been acknowledged with the challenges of adult education in Macedonia and contribution of DVV International in their development and capacity building.
The exchange involved representatives from Ministries of education and science from both countries, managers of adult education institutions and trainers who are actively involved in adult education.
Participants had possibility to learn more about the experiences from introduction of Curriculum globALE – education plan which is basic qualification working framework for trainers in adult education for adults around the world.
Through working groups participants learned more about creation of standards for professions and processes for verification of education programs in Macedonia.
Bilateral professional exchange provided opportunity to different actors involved in systems for adult education from the two countries to join and discuss important questions, to exchange opinions and examples from good practice from their work in area of adult education.
